Please accept this letter as a formal request for emergency time off due to a sudden and critical family emergency.
I am requesting leave beginning on 03 November 2025and estimate I will return to work on 10 November 2025. I understand this is short notice, and I appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this difficult time.
I have already taken steps to ensure my essential responsibilities are covered while I am away.
While I anticipate being fully focused on this family matter, I will check email/phone periodically for urgent, critical issues / set up an automatic Out of Office reply and be unreachable until my return. Please advise on the best way for you or the team to contact me if there is an absolute necessity.
