Instructor Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery

  • Conduct Live or Virtual Training Sessions:
    • Lead engaging live or virtual classes that cover plumbing installation, repair techniques, and system maintenance.
    • Use diverse teaching methods to cater to various learning styles, including lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive Q&A sessions.
    • Ensure that each lesson is clear, informative, and aligned with industry standards to enhance practical and theoretical knowledge of students.
  • Interactive and Hands-on Learning:
    • For virtual sessions, use tools like videos, virtual labs, and real-time demonstrations to mimic real-life scenarios.
    • For live (in-person) sessions, guide students through practical hands-on exercises and supervised tasks (e.g., installing pipes, repairing fixtures, troubleshooting systems).
    • Integrate problem-solving exercises, where students can troubleshoot and repair common plumbing issues, as part of the classwork.

2. Curriculum Implementation

  • Follow SayPro Curriculum Guidelines:
    • Deliver the prescribed curriculum based on the SayPro Artisan School’s program standards, including installation, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Ensure the curriculum includes updates on new plumbing technologies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Customize Lessons for Student Needs:
    • Adapt lessons based on the experience level of students (beginner to advanced), ensuring the content is accessible but still challenges them.
    • Offer supplemental resources for advanced learners and additional support for students who need extra help.
  • Incorporate Industry Best Practices:
    • Ensure students are familiar with industry-leading plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
