Participant Support Responsibilities:

1. Hands-On Guidance and Demonstration

  • Tool Familiarization:
    • Introduce participants to various plumbing tools (e.g., pipe cutters, soldering irons, wrenches, plumbing snakes), ensuring they understand proper use and safety precautions.
    • Offer step-by-step demonstrations of how each tool is used for specific plumbing tasks like pipe installation, leak repairs, and system maintenance.
    • Allow participants to practice with the tools under your guidance, ensuring they gain confidence and competence in using them.
  • Guiding Through Techniques:
    • Lead participants through essential plumbing techniques, such as pipe fitting, soldering, sealant application, and fixture installations.
    • Offer real-time feedback as participants practice techniques, ensuring they perform tasks correctly and safely.
    • Assist with the adjustment of technique when necessary, explaining why certain methods work best for different situations or materials.

2. Safety Procedures and Protocols

  • Emphasize Safety Practices:
    • Teach participants the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, and aprons, and ensure they follow proper safety protocols.
    • Demonstrate how to work safely with plumbing tools, hot water, and under pressure to avoid accidents.
