SayPro Event Entry Criteria

SayPro events are designed to foster dialogue, collaboration, and action among key stakeholders in the field of inclusive education. To ensure a meaningful and impactful experience for all participants, attendance is open to individuals and representatives who meet the following criteria:

1. Individual Educators

This includes teachers, lecturers, and academic support staff from early childhood development, primary, secondary, and tertiary education institutions. Eligible participants should:

  • Be actively involved in teaching or curriculum development.
  • Demonstrate an interest or experience in inclusive education practices.
  • Be committed to improving learner outcomes and promoting equity in education.

2. Inclusive Education Facilitators

These are professionals or specialists who advocate for or implement inclusive education strategies. They may operate within schools, districts, NGOs, or independently. Eligible facilitators should:

  • Have direct experience supporting learners with diverse needs.
  • Be engaged in training, mentorship, or support services that promote inclusion.
  • Contribute to policy development, implementation, or advocacy in inclusive education.

3. Parents/Guardians

Parents and guardians play a critical role in the success of inclusive education. SayPro welcomes the participation of caregivers who:

  • Are actively involved in the education of children with diverse learning needs.
  • Advocate for inclusive practices within their schools or communities.
  • Seek to build knowledge, skills, and networks to support their children’s education.

4. NGO Representatives

Representatives from registered non-governmental organizations working in education, inclusion, disability rights, or community development are encouraged to participate. Ideal participants will:

  • Contribute experience, resources, or insights to the event dialogue.
  • Be committed to multi-sector collaboration and sustainable impact.

5. School District Decision-Makers

SayPro values the participation of policymakers, administrators, and education officials at district, regional, or national levels. These decision-makers should:

  • Be responsible for shaping or overseeing educational programs or policies.
  • Hold authority in implementing inclusive education strategies within their jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to systemic change and innovation in education.
