Position Title: Webinar and Workshop Facilitator – Financial Planning

Event Overview:
The SayPro Monthly September SCFR-16 event aims to empower businesses with the knowledge and tools necessary to build comprehensive, sustainable financial plans. The event will feature a series of webinars and workshops designed to explain the key principles of financial planning, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial analysis. The goal is to equip participants with actionable insights and hands-on experience that will help them take charge of their financial future and drive business growth.

Position Overview:

As a Webinar and Workshop Facilitator for the SayPro Financial Planning Event, your role will be to deliver dynamic and interactive webinars and workshops that explain the core principles of financial planning. You will guide participants through the steps needed to create their own comprehensive financial plans, helping them understand how to set and achieve financial goals, manage cash flow, allocate resources, and ensure long-term sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial planning, the ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner, and a passion for educating and empowering business owners and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Host Webinars on Financial Planning Principles:
    • Deliver high-quality live webinars covering a range of financial planning topics, including:
      • Budgeting and Forecasting: Teach participants how to create accurate budgets and forecasts, plan for future growth, and ensure that their business stays financially healthy.
      • Resource Allocation: Explain how to effectively allocate resources across various business functions to maximize productivity and profitability.
      • Cash Flow Management: Help participants understand how to monitor, analyze, and manage their cash flow to ensure liquidity and smooth operations.
      • Financial Goal Setting: Guide participants in setting short- and long-term financial goals aligned with their business objectives.
      • Financial Analysis: Discuss how to perform financial analysis to evaluate business performance and make data-driven decisions.
    • Use engaging presentation tools (e.g., slides, polls, breakout sessions) to keep the audience engaged.
    • Ensure the webinars are interactive, encouraging participants to ask questions and engage in discussions.
  2. Facilitate Online Workshops:
    • Organize interactive workshops that allow participants to work on practical financial planning exercises, including:
      • Developing and refining their financial goals.
      • Constructing detailed budgets and cash flow forecasts.
      • Analyzing their own financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.).
      • Identifying areas for cost-cutting and improving profit margins.
      • Creating actionable financial roadmaps for future growth.
    • Guide participants through step-by-step activities, providing real-time feedback and answering specific questions related to their unique business contexts.
    • Use collaborative tools (e.g., virtual whiteboards, shared documents) to facilitate group exercises and allow participants to share their work with others.
  3. Develop Webinar and Workshop Materials:
    • Prepare engaging presentations and workshop resources, such as templates, worksheets, and guides, that participants can use during and after the event to create their financial plans.
    • Ensure that all materials are comprehensive, easy to understand, and practical, catering to both beginners and more experienced participants in financial planning.
  4. Promote Active Participation and Engagement:
    • Foster an interactive learning environment by encouraging participants to ask questions, share challenges, and provide insights from their own business experiences.
    • Use polls, quizzes, and breakout discussions to encourage participant interaction and ensure that the material is being understood.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:

  2. Experience:

  3. Skills and Expertise:
    • Expertise in financial planning tools, budgeting software, and forecasting models.
    • Strong knowledge of key financial concepts, including cash flow management, cost allocation, profitability analysis, and financial goal setting.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate a diverse group of participants.
    • Comfort with online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) and webinar tools (e.g., WebinarJam, GoToWebinar, or similar).
    • Familiarity with interactive learning tools, such as virtual whiteboards, polling software, and collaborative document editing.
  4. Personal Traits:
    • A passion for teaching and helping others succeed financially.
    • Ability to build rapport with participants and create an environment of trust and openness.
    • A problem-solving mindset, able to respond to participant questions with tailored, practical advice.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sessions and ensure smooth execution of webinars and workshops.
