Each mode has its own facilitation guidelines and standards, but both must meet SayProโs Quality and Interaction Framework .
1. Facilitating Face-to-Face Training Sessions
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the physical learning environment
Ensure venue readiness (seating, lighting, materials, tech setup)
Provide printed handouts, registration sheets, name tags, etc.
Deliver interactive and inclusive training
Begin with introductions and ice-breakers to create a positive environment
Use varied teaching methods (lecture, group activities, role-playing, case studies)
Encourage open discussion, questions, and participation
Monitor learner engagement and understanding
Observe body language and group dynamics
Adjust pace and methods in real-time based on learner feedback
Manage logistics and timing
Keep the session within scheduled time
Allow for breaks and manage transitions between topics effectively

A. Facilitation Quality Standards
Trainer must be SayPro-approved and complete Train-the-Trainer onboarding
Use the official session outline and timing guide
Maintain professional tone, inclusive language, and learner-focused delivery
Align content delivery with defined learning outcomes
B. Interaction Standards
At least one interactive activity every 15โ20 minutes (polls, questions, pair work, etc.)
Encourage peer-to-peer interaction and group learning
Address all questions respectfully and inclusively
Use learner names and promote psychological safety in discussions
C. Inclusivity & Accessibility
Speak clearly, avoid jargon unless defined
Accommodate learners with special needs (hearing, mobility, language preferences)
