Objective:

To transform raw GPT-generated data into a curated, polished, and professionally usable set of menu items by selecting the most appropriate entries and refining them for clarity, creativity, and brand alignment.


Task Description:

After completing GPT prompt sessions and generating a minimum of 500 raw menu topic items, SayPro Learners must now move into the next phase: selecting and refining content for actual menu use. This task emphasizes content quality control, creative enhancement, and alignment with SayProโ€™s hospitality and culinary standards.

Participants are expected to critically analyze GPT outputs, choose the most relevant and unique menu items, and refine item names, descriptions, and formatting to reflect industry-ready professionalism.


Task Breakdown:

1. Review and Filter GPT Outputs:

  • Carefully read through each set of 100 GPT-generated items.
  • Remove duplicates, vague ideas, or entries that lack culinary relevance.
  • Select a refined list of at least 20โ€“30 high-quality menu items per session (totaling 100โ€“150 selected items from all sessions).
  • Focus on variety, uniqueness, balance (starters, mains, desserts, beverages), and fit for a particular cuisine or concept.

2. Enhance Item Names:

  • Modify item titles to sound more appealing, marketable, or creative.
  • Incorporate descriptive culinary terms where appropriate (e.g., โ€œGrilled Chickenโ€ โ†’ โ€œChargrilled Lemon-Herb Chicken Breastโ€).

3. Write or Improve Descriptions:

  • Add clear, enticing descriptions to each selected item (50โ€“100 words max).
  • Describe ingredients, preparation methods, flavor profiles, or cultural influences.
  • Ensure the language suits the intended brand voice (e.g., casual, gourmet, vegan-friendly, etc.).

4. Include Key Menu Details:

  • For each refined item, include:
    • Price estimates (based on perceived value or category)
    • Dietary tags (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, spicy, nut-free)
    • Optional: Suggested pairings or serving notes

5. Organize and Format for Use:

  • Structure the selected and refined items into a preliminary menu draft using SayProโ€™s categorization format (e.g., Starters, Entrรฉes, Desserts).
  • Submit the finalized list using SayProโ€™s provided spreadsheet or template format.

Expected Deliverables:

  • โœ… A final, curated list of 100โ€“150 refined menu items selected from GPT outputs
  • โœ… Each item includes a title, description, price, and dietary tags
  • โœ… Content organized by menu category and formatted using SayPro-approved templates
  • โœ… A reflection or summary explaining selection and refinement decisions

This task should be completed after the initial GPT prompt sessions and submitted within the second half of the designated period (as per the SayPro course calendar).
