Effective content preparation is critical to the success of the SayPro event. This task focuses on organizing all instructional and support materials needed for facilitators, attendees, and virtual participants.
Purpose of Content Preparation
- To equip facilitators with structured session outlines and teaching tools
- To provide participants with meaningful, accessible, and engaging learning materials
- To ensure a consistent and professional standard of delivery across all workshops and activities
- To support equal participation for both virtual and in-person attendees
1. Session Outlines
Each workshop, keynote, or facilitated discussion should have a clearly developed session outline, including:
a. Learning Objectives
- What participants should know, feel, or be able to do by the end of the session
- Aligned with SayProโs focus on Jewish learning, leadership, ethics, or community engagement
b. Session Flow
- Breakdown of the session by time (e.g., 5-min intro, 10-min group activity, 15-min reflection, etc.)
- Instructions for transitions, breakout discussions, or partner work
- Time allocated for Q&A, reflection, or participant sharing
c. Key Content and Talking Points
- Overview of major topics or themes
- Jewish texts, values, or stories being explored (with translations if needed)
- Quotes, case studies, or examples that support discussion
d. Facilitator Notes
- Prompts for discussion
- Icebreakers or energizers to start the session
- Tips for managing group dynamics, especially in mixed-generation or cross-cultural groups
2. Workshop Materials
Prepare and organize all physical and digital materials that participants and facilitators will need, such as:
a. Handouts
- Jewish texts (source sheets), reflection questions, worksheets
- Printed or downloadable guides with prompts, activities, and learning tools
