  • SayProCHAR-Requesting to work/host using offline method for Learner Guide and Assessments Submission for Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking Skills

    We are writing to formally request temporary authorization to host the Critical Thinking Skills class offline. This request is necessitated by the ongoing technical instability and operational challenges currently being experienced with the central educational portal.

    The Critical Thinking Skills course relies heavily on consistent real-time engagement, collaborative discussions, and timely submission of short exercises, all of which are significantly hampered by the intermittent downtime, data sync failures, and connectivity issues currently affecting the portal.

    To prevent any further disruption to student learning progress and to ensure that the rigorous pedagogical goals of the course are met, we propose moving the class to a physical classroom setting immediately. This temporary shift will allow us to maintain a stable learning environment and ensure instructional continuity.

    We emphasize that this is a short-term measure. We plan to revert the course instruction back to the online portal format as soon as the relevant teams confirm the system is fully operational and reliably stable.

    We kindly request immediate approval for this temporary instructional change and would appreciate guidance on an appropriate physical location where the class may be held during this period.

    Please accept this letter as a formal request for emergency time off due to a sudden and critical family emergency.

    I am requesting leave beginning on 03 November 2025and estimate I will return to work on 10 November 2025. I understand this is short notice, and I appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this difficult time.

    I have already taken steps to ensure my essential responsibilities are covered while I am away.

    While I anticipate being fully focused on this family matter, I will check email/phone periodically for urgent, critical issues / set up an automatic Out of Office reply and be unreachable until my return.
