SayPro Application Documents Required
As part of its commitment to ensuring a secure and professional event environment, SayPro requires all applicants to submit the following documents when registering for an event:
1. Certified Copy of ID or Passport
Required Document:
A certified copy of a valid identification document (either a national ID or passport) must be submitted as part of your application.
Purpose of this Requirement:
- To verify the identity of all participants.
- To maintain the integrity and safety of the event.
- To comply with SayPro’s participant verification and data security protocols.
Acceptable Forms of Identification:
- National Identity Document (e.g., ID card, national registration card).
- Valid Passport (for both local and international participants).
- Refugee or asylum seeker documentation (if applicable).
Certification Guidelines:
The ID or passport copy must be certified by an appropriate authority. This means:
- The copy must include a stamp and signature from an official certifier.
- The certifier can be a commissioner of oaths, notary public, police officer, school principal, lawyer, or government official.
- The certification must confirm that the copy is a true representation of the original document.
Note: Uncertified or blurry/scanned documents that cannot be verified will result in the application being marked incomplete.
How to Submit:
- Upload the certified ID/passport copy via the SayPro online application portal when completing the application form (accessible after clicking “Register for Event”).
- Ensure the file is in PDF, JPG, or PNG format and is clearly legible.
Privacy and Data Security:
SayPro treats all personal documentation with strict confidentiality. All identity documents are:
- Stored securely.
- Used solely for the purpose of verifying applicant identity and eligibility.
- Deleted in accordance with SayPro’s data protection policy after the verification process.
Final Notes:
- Submission of a certified ID/passport copy is mandatory for all applicants.
- Applications without this document will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed.
- SayPro reserves the right to request additional verification if needed.
