SayPro Primary Responsibility: Ensure Timely Updates of the Product Catalog to Reflect Available Sizes, Colors, and Other Options

Objective:
To maintain a current and accurate product catalog on the SayPro platform by ensuring that all product variationsโ€”such as sizes, colors, materials, and stylesโ€”are regularly updated. This ensures customers and internal teams have access to the most accurate product information for seamless ordering, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.


Key Duties and Tasks:

  1. Regularly Review Product Listings:
    • Conduct scheduled audits of the product catalog to ensure all available product variants (e.g., sizes, colors, configurations) are accurately displayed.
    • Work closely with inventory and product teams to validate that listed options reflect actual stock availability.
  2. Update Size and Color Availability Promptly:
    • Monitor inventory changes and automatically or manually update the platform when a specific size, color, or product option becomes available or is out of stock.
    • Clearly mark limited-stock items and remove or grey out unavailable options to prevent order issues or customer dissatisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with Product Development and Branding Teams:
    • Coordinate with relevant departments to receive timely updates about new product releases, discontinued lines, or changes in available options.
    • Ensure that new variantsโ€”such as a new colorway or size rangeโ€”are correctly integrated into the catalog with appropriate SKUs, images, and descriptions.
  4. Maintain Visual and Descriptive Accuracy:
    • Ensure product photos accurately reflect each variant (e.g., color swatches, size charts, fabric textures).
    • Review and update product descriptions to include relevant details for each variation to aid customer decision-making and reduce return rates.
  5. Coordinate with Web and E-commerce Teams:
    • Work with SayProโ€™s platform or e-commerce administrators to ensure updates are reflected across all relevant sales channels, including websites, apps, or third-party marketplaces.
    • Test product pages after updates to confirm correct functionality of dropdowns, filters, and variant selection tools.
  6. Monitor Customer and Internal Feedback:
    • Pay attention to feedback from customers and sales teams regarding missing or incorrect product options.
    • Investigate and correct catalog errors or omissions promptly and document changes to improve processes.
  7. Automate and Optimize Catalog Management (if applicable):
    • Use product information management (PIM) systems or catalog management tools to automate the syncing of product options with inventory data.
    • Set up rules or alerts that notify catalog managers when a product variant needs updating or has gone out of stock.
  8. Document and Track Catalog Updates:
    • Maintain a log of all updates made to the product catalog, including changes to size charts, color options, and product attributes.
