SayPro Participation Requirement: Personal Identification (Copy of ID or Passport)
To maintain the integrity, security, and accountability of its programs and events, SayPro requires all participants to submit valid personal identification as part of the registration and verification process. This is a standard procedure applied to both local and international participants to ensure that all individuals involved are accurately identified and eligible to take part.
What is Required
Participants must provide a clear and legible copy of one of the following forms of official identification:
- National Identity Document (ID)
- Passport
- Driver’s License (in cases where it serves as an official form of identification in your country)
The document must include:
- Full legal name
- Date of birth
- Photograph
- Identification or passport number
- Expiry date (where applicable)
- Issuing authority
Why This is Required
Submitting valid identification helps SayPro to:
- Verify the identity and age of participants (e.g., ensuring minimum age requirements such as 18+ are met)
- Maintain accurate records for safety, insurance, and reporting purposes
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and funding requirements
- Facilitate the issuance of participation certificates, stipends, or travel arrangements (if applicable)
How to Submit
- During the online application process, you will be prompted to upload a scanned copy or photo of your ID or passport.
- If submitting via email or a secure portal, ensure the file is in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format, and does not exceed the size limit specified in the instructions.
- The document must be clear and unobstructed—blurry or cropped images may be rejected.
Data Privacy and Security
SayPro takes data protection seriously. All personal identification documents submitted:
- Will be handled with strict confidentiality
- Are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of verification
- Will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where legally required
