1. Preparation of Finalized Learning Materials
- Content Finalization: Ensure that all course modules, lessons, assessments, and supplementary materials have been reviewed, approved, and finalized by the relevant curriculum development teams and subject matter experts.
- File Integrity Check: Verify that all files (e.g., PDFs, videos, slide decks, SCORM packages) are complete, virus-free, and properly named according to SayPro’s file naming conventions.
- Standardization: Confirm that all content adheres to SayPro’s formatting guidelines, branding requirements (e.g., logos, font styles), and accessibility standards (e.g., alt-text for images, subtitles for videos).
2. LMS Platform Preparation
- Course Shell Creation: Coordinate with the LMS administrator to ensure that the course shell or learning environment for each module is created and properly configured (e.g., course title, description, structure).
- User Roles Assignment: Define and assign user roles (e.g., facilitators, learners, assessors) within the LMS to enable proper access controls and workflow management.
3. Uploading Learning Content
- Content Structure Setup:
- Organize modules into logical sections (e.g., Weeks, Units, Topics).
- Set up navigation menus, progress tracking elements, and interactive timelines as required.
- Upload of Core Content:
- Upload lesson materials such as readings, presentations, interactive activities, and videos.
- Ensure file sizes and formats are optimized for web delivery (e.g., compressed videos, embedded documents).
