Objective:

To ensure the successful promotion of SayProโ€™s campaigns and initiatives by collaborating with the marketing and communications teams to design, develop, and distribute high-quality, mission-aligned promotional materialsโ€”both digital and print.


I. PLANNING & STRATEGY

1. Define Campaign Goals & Messaging

  • Clarify Campaign Theme: Align with SayProโ€™s mission and target audience (e.g., youth empowerment, skills development, fundraising drive).
  • Key Messages: Develop core messaging for all materials (e.g., โ€œEmpower One Youth Today,โ€ โ€œYour ZAR 100 Can Change a Lifeโ€).
  • Audience Segmentation: Customize messaging for different stakeholdersโ€”individual donors, corporate sponsors, community members, etc.
  • Tone & Style Guide: Ensure materials follow SayProโ€™s branding standards (color scheme, font, logo usage, tone of voice).

2. Create a Content Calendar

  • Work with the communications team to develop a timeline for content production and release, especially leading up to and during campaign periods (e.g., June campaign).
  • Include milestones for:
    • Social media posts
    • Email campaigns
    • Video content
    • Offline collateral
    • Press releases

II. DIGITAL PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

1. Social Media Graphics and Posts

Coordinate with designers and content writers to develop:

  • Branded Templates: For quotes, testimonials, statistics, and countdowns.
  • Daily or Weekly Posts: Sharing campaign goals, impact stories, donor spotlights, calls to action.
  • Platform-Specific Versions: Optimized content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Interactive Elements: Polls, stories, live sessions, reels, and campaign challenges (e.g., #SayProYouthChallenge).

2. Digital Banners and Ads

  • Create digital banners for use on the SayPro website, partner sites, and email footers.
  • Design web advertisements for paid social media or Google Ad campaigns with clear CTAs (e.g., โ€œDonate Now,โ€ โ€œJoin Usโ€).

3. Videos and Animations

Coordinate the production of:

  • Short Promo Videos (30โ€“60 seconds): Highlight SayProโ€™s work and invite support.
  • Testimonial Videos: From youth beneficiaries, volunteers, or donors.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Clips: Showing SayProโ€™s programs in action.
  • Explainer Videos: About how donations are used and what impact they make.

4. Email Marketing Content

Work with the communications team to:

  • Draft engaging email sequences for campaign phases (launch, mid-campaign, final push, thank-you).
  • Design headers and graphics for email templates.
  • Include dynamic content (e.g., progress bars, stories, links to donate/share).

III. PRINT & OFFLINE MATERIALS

1. Posters and Flyers

Design and distribute high-quality printed materials for community centers, schools, libraries, and event venues:

  • Campaign posters
  • Handout flyers
  • QR-code-enabled donation links
  • Multilingual versions if targeting diverse audiences

2. Banners and Signage

Coordinate production of:

  • Outdoor banners for SayPro offices or sponsored events
  • Pop-up banners and signage for fundraising tables, public events, or corporate engagements
  • Branded backdrops for photos and press appearances

3. Merchandise Design

Collaborate on:

  • SayPro-branded t-shirts, wristbands, tote bags, and stickers to promote awareness and engagement.

IV. COLLABORATION & APPROVAL PROCESS

1. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Set up regular meetings with marketing, communications, and fundraising teams to align on goals, progress, and deadlines.

2. Internal Review and Approval

  • Implement a checklist for quality assurance:
