Task 2: Initial Self-Assessment and Document Submission

Phase: Pre-Training
Date Range: May 28 – June 1, 2025
Training Program: SayPro Monthly June – SCHAR-22
Platform: SayPro Learning Portal


Objective:

To establish a clear understanding of each participant’s current communication skill level and provide baseline materials that will inform their personalized training experience throughout the program.


A. Self-Assessment Survey

Purpose:
To evaluate participants’ existing communication abilities, confidence levels, and specific areas for improvement in verbal and written communication.

Steps:

  1. Access the Self-Assessment Survey
    • Log in to the SayPro Learning Portal.
    • Go to your dashboard and click on the “Pre-Training Self-Assessment” tab.
  2. Complete the Survey Sections:
    • Communication confidence rating (scale-based)
    • Verbal vs. written communication strengths
    • Workplace communication scenarios (multiple choice)
    • Self-reflection: Areas for growth
    • Preferred communication styles and challenges
  3. Submit the Survey
    • Ensure all questions are answered.
    • Submit your responses by June 1, 2025.
    • Your responses will be used to tailor your learning experience and track progress throughout the training.

B. Document Submission

Purpose:
To collect real-world communication samples for assessment, benchmarking, and guided improvement throughout the course.

Required Submissions:

  1. Written Communication Samples
    • At least two (2) professional writing samples, such as:
      • Emails (e.g., internal updates, client follow-ups)
      • Reports (e.g., project summaries, proposals)
      • Memos or announcements
    • Documents must reflect actual workplace or academic writing.
  2. Recorded Verbal Presentation
    • Submit a 1–2 minute video or audio recording of yourself presenting:
      • A short self-introduction
      • A brief overview of a professional or academic topic
    • Purpose: To assess tone, clarity, pacing, and delivery style.
  3. File Format and Upload Instructions
    • Acceptable formats: .doc, .pdf, .mp3, .mp4, .mov
    • Upload documents and media via the “Document Submission” section on your SayPro dashboard.
    • Ensure all files are labeled with your full name and document type.

  • Deadline for completion: June 1, 2025, 11:59 PM
  • All submissions are confidential and used solely for training and feedback purposes.
  • Incomplete or late submissions may delay access to personalized learning modules.
